Party Report

The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind! Scott got in to Green Bay on Wednesday afternoon (3/25). He had to report to his reserve center in GB on Thursday. He made his way back to Iowa on Friday thanks to the Bill, Nancy, and Arnie who each drove him part of the way. They managed to stop for pizza at one of Scott's favorite joints, Christiano's in Wautoma. They arrived in New Albin around 3:00 p.m. just in time to help finishing set up for the homecoming party. Since it was a Friday in lent, we were limited on menu options so we had a fish fry.Nancy thawed fish; Arnie manned the fryer; Amy stirred the mac-n-cheese. Gianna wouldn't let go of her Daddy which made setting up tables and getting the beer in the coolers a bit of a trick! We had a great gathering of 50+ neighbors and friends. Thanks to all!

On Saturday we made our way back to Oshkosh for a family and friend gathering there. Bill and Kathy (with lots of help from the Salm family and the Mathes!) put together a really nice party. The food was great and the reunion was wonderful. Thanks to all who helped and attended!
