We just heard that Scott is scheduled to deploy again in January. He does not have official orders yet, but his command notified him via phone on Monday. Meanwhile, I've been asked to serve as the ombudsman (family liaison) for the Green Bay detachment. Scott and I will head to the Great Lakes Navy base in Chicago land next month for training. Not only will I enjoy serving other military families, it will be really nice to be in the know during this deployment as I'll have more access to information than I did last time (especially since Scott deployed with a unit based on the other side of the country).
I'm not sure how much I can post now and we really don't have that many details, but I can say that as of now his orders a not to the Middle East. As we know more, I'll post.
