Leader of the Pack

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., a 5k race was held on base this morning. Scott entered and ran with 300+ other soldiers, sailors, and marines. It was a chilly 30 degrees at the starting line. He was running in a pack of about 25 guys for the first two miles but then pulled away and finished a good 45 seconds before the next runner. He wasn't sure what place he finished overall, but he was the first Seabee to cross the finish line!
