It was a beautiful day in sunny Iraq. Scott said the weather this week is just about perfect--the nicest he's seen since he's been there. All week it should be in the upper 60s/low 70s. The fact that it has been sub-zero here seems to add to his enjoyment. The nicer days really are a blessing when they are working on building projects; the cold and windy days made it difficult, if not impossible, to do things like pour concrete and hang steel.
I'm reminded of a little poem/tongue twister that we used as a warm-up before speech tournaments:
Whether the weather is cold,
Or whether the weather is hot,
We'll (work) together whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not.
